I’m Equisha — licensed esthetician, heart enthusiast, proud mom of two little kings, and Founder of The Wax Empire. My journey began over a decade ago in Staten Island, New York, where I fell in love with the art of waxing while working for a major beauty chain. What started as a job quickly became a calling — I loved witnessing the instant transformation and confidence my clients carried out the door. Life gave me new titles — Mom, CEO, homeowner — and while I paused the corporate world to focus on family, I never put down my passion. I continued waxing friends and family, building trust, skill, and a vision for something greater.
